Financial Leadership Program (FLP)
Recognized as the leadership development program of the AT&T Finance organization, FLP offers high profile rotations that allow participants to engage in decision-making and interact with key members of the AT&T senior management team. Through this nationally recognized program, participants will be exposed to financial operations, as well as the telecommunications industry through a Fortune 10 leader.
For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Be in the final year of completing an MBA with a focus on Finance, Accounting or Economics;
- Have more than three years of corporate work experience;
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and strategic thinking attributes;
- Display strong communication skills;
- Must be a US citizen or have permanent work authorization;
- Geographic mobility, as rotations are typically located in the following locations: Atlanta, Georgia; San Antonio, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Bedminster, New Jersey; San Ramon, California; Hoffman Estates, Illinois; This is a full-time, paid position with employee benefits.
Career Leadership and Selling Skills Program (CLASS)
Work towards participants future in the Career Leadership and Selling Skills Program (CLASS). In AT&T's Advertising & Publishing CLASS program, the team aims to develop participants' leadership, sales and marketing skills. The focus of the program is on mentoring and personal development, designed to give the experience that opens up a world of sales and marketing opportunities.
Participant requirements:
- Graduate degrees (MBA, MS, MA) or undergraduate degrees emphasizing business, finance, professional sales management or technical disciplines;
- Experience holding a minimum of two officer roles in extra-curricular organizations, and/or relevant work history that reflects experience in directly supervising others, delegating tasks, and resolving conflicts preferred;
- Minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Geographic mobility, as positions could be located across the enterprise (Dallas, St. Louis, Atlanta, San Francisco Bay Area, Troy Michigan, Birmingham).
Retail Sales Leadership Program (RSLP)
The premier Retail Sales Leadership Program is for recruiting and developing the talent of recent top college graduates. The program begins with a 6-month Atlanta based training program that focuses on developing leadership, management and coaching skills and also includes in-store rotations for practical application of skills. This is a full-time, paid position with employee benefits.
Participant requirements:
- Recent undergraduate degree emphasizing Business, Retail Management or Marketing;
- Demonstrated leadership abilities;
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal - and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Passion for working with people and delivering world-class customer service;
- Prior retail experience a plus, but not required;
- Computer skills and knowledge;
- Willingness to relocate to AT&T's wireless headquarters in Atlanta, GA for duration of training program and travel to markets as needed;
- Willingness to relocate anywhere within AT&T's U.S. coverage area upon completion of program based upon current business needs
Engineering Co-op Program
This program is designed for Engineering students whose school participates in a Co-op program. The pipeline of Engineers of the future starts with 4-5 months working full-time then back to school for 4-5 months, and then returning to the program for another rotation. This is a traditional Co-op program working with technology for tomorrow.
The College Hire Sales Development Program (CHSD)
The College Hire Sales Development Program (CHSD) is for many the first step towards an exciting business-to-business sales career with AT&T. With hands-on training, coaching, assessment, support and more, a participant will have the opportunity to hone his/her sales skills, the product knowledge, and the skill set. This is ‘the’ 5-month paid program that will put a person on the fast track toward a future with the industry’s leading services and solutions provider. This is a full-time, paid position with employee benefits.
For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree within the past three years;
- Strong academic performance and active involvement;
- Related experience in Marketing or Sales;
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic-thinking attributes;
- Strong communications skills;
- Effective problem-solving skills;
- Sales passion and strong interest to be in a sales career path at AT&T;
- A strong desire for accelerated growth in professional sales;
- High customer service standards;
