Program:
Summer Internship Program. The program is coordinated through our corporate headquarters in Decatur, Illinois. However, students have the opportunity to make their mark in a variety of locations across the country, with emphasis on the U.S. Midwest. The program promotes the professional development of students while providing a training ground for potential future employees.
The 12-week experience kicks off with orientation in May where interns learn about ADM, participate in teambuilding activities and gain a better understanding of what the program has to offer. In addition to experiencing real-world responsibilities, the program focus on the interns’ professional growth through a progressive development series and multiple opportunities to learn about the company and the agriculture industry.
Internship requirements vary somewhat from one department or job type to another, but all interns must provide proof of their eligibility to work in the U.S., and pass a drug screen and background check.
These are paid internships, but benefits are not included. Housing is offered for those students assigned to locations outside of their home or campus area. In addition, standard costs are reimbursed for relocating to and from the assigned location. Students are responsible for providing their own means of transportation.
