Internship opportunities. The internship program gives undergraduate and graduatestudents an opportunity to experience the healthcare IT industry first-hand. Through project-based work, as well as hands-on experience, students are exposed to many aspects of the business that will draw upon their skill set. Further, participants work in a team-based environment that provides a network of support. The McKesson Provider Technologies Internship Program provides a comprehensive and customized experience that guides, challenges and develops you professionally.
Project: During the internship, students complete a well defined project that students reporting manager will develop and spearhead. Students also will share project results and learning outcomes during a formal presentation to management.
Qualifications. McKesson Provider Technologies offers paidinternships that are open to full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program at a domestic, accredited university or college. Interns are required to work full-time for 10 weeks and complete a well-defined project in areas such as project management, software ngineering, product and technical support, implementations, finance, human resources or marketing.
