Bellevue University was founded in 1965.Now the School enrolls over 8,000 students and is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS). The School offers leading–edge 3–year bachelor's degree, 15 master's degree programs and and recently added the first Ph.D. program.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Bellevue University is outstanding. It offers beginning through advanced level classes for undergraduate and graduate students. You will receive instruction in English grammar, vocabulary, composition, reading, listening, and speaking. Features of the Program: you will receive college credit toward graduation for your ESL course work; students at the advanced levels are allowed to take other courses while completing ESL classes. Students learn English through advanced technology, using language lab and computer software. TOEFL scores are not required for admission.
